Terms of Service

These terms apply to FreeRoster: the website at freeroster.com and the FreeRoster app, operated by Brobata, LLC (“we,” “us”). By using FreeRoster you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The short version

FreeRoster helps a team plan and share its work schedule. It's free. Managers are responsible for the schedule they post and the people they invite; everyone is responsible for how they use it.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to work where you live, and at least 13. Owners who create a team must be 18 or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

Your team and your account

  • The person who creates a team owns it, and can add managers. Owners and managers decide who joins, who sees what, and can remove anyone at any time.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • You keep ownership of what you put into FreeRoster. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

Schedules, hours and pay

FreeRoster shows hours, overtime estimates and labor cost as planning aids. They are estimates based on what you enter and the rules you choose. They are not legal, payroll or tax advice, and they don't replace your own records. Employers remain responsible for complying with labor, wage and scheduling laws.

Acceptable use

Don't use FreeRoster to harass or harm anyone, to send spam invites, to access accounts or teams that aren't yours, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

FreeRoster is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and accurate but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change. If we ever introduce paid features, anything you already use for free will not be taken away without at least 30 days' notice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Brobata, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost wages, lost profits or missed shifts, arising from your use of FreeRoster. Our total liability to you is limited to $100.

Ending

You can stop using FreeRoster and delete your account at any time. We may end accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We'll post changes here and email account holders about meaningful ones at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
